THE ARTS SOCIETY WEST WALES is a leading, well established arts education charity, part of an international organisation. Our passion is to bring people together and enrich all our lives through a shared interest in the Arts. Our core activity is the monthly programme of illustrated talks by accredited lecturers. 

The topics are wide ranging and include archaeology, architecture, painting, sculpture, textiles, furniture, glass, printing, ceramics, jewellery, costume, garden design, music, dance and theatre. 

Joining our society is a wonderful opportunity to make new friends, take part in our social events and get involved with Young Arts and Heritage projects. 

In addition to the lecture series, we organise visits to places of interest around the country. Our very popular Special Interest Days provide opportunities for ‘hands on’ experiences such as painting, crafts, printing and more. Some of our members also contribute to and preserve our artistic heritage through volunteering and grants, so the society is not just a great place to learn, it’s a way of making new and lasting friendships.
